2009 News

2009 USEF PONY FINALS!

Congratulations Delaney Ryder & Now Playing!
52^nd Overall in the Large Greens and Top 34 in the model and hack
&
Rachel Bethea & Woodlands Pure Platinum
 on a great job in the USEF Pony Medal Finals!

This year we had a large group attend Pony Finals!  We had a wonderful time cheering Rachel & Delaney on!  On Tuesday we visited Three Chimneys Farm where we met Smarty Jones & Big Brown!  Burberry aka Buzz (an adorable grey small welsh pony) became a part of the Briar Field Farm 'pony' family on Wednesday at the auction!  On Friday we took a trip to Keeneland for breakfast and to watch the race horses!  We can't wait until next year!

For qualifying for the 2008 Zone 3 Finals!

2008 USEF PONY FINALS!

Congratulations Sarah Smith & Happy Ending!
25^th Overall in the Small Greens at the 2008 USEF Pony Finals!

We had a GREAT time!  We rented an RV and camped at the Kentucky Horse Park.
We were able to tour a farm with famous retired Thoroughbred race horses (Old Friends Farm), visit the well known Claiborne Farm,
watch thehorses "breeze" at Keeneland and even meet a couple famous jockeys (Robert Ussery, a Hall of Fame jockey, and
Jean Cruget who rode Seattle Slew to the Triple Crown victory!).  We also visited all the sights within the horse park,
watched the pony auction and of course had to make s'mores at the campsite!  We can't wait till next year!
