Itsy Bitsy Spider
"Spider"

12.11/4 hand, 11 year old black Welsh Pony, gelding.  Briar Field's newest addition!  Spider is an adorable small pony hunter!  Very quiet and easy to ride.  Ready to show walk-trot to small pony hunters!  Spider does it all, he is brave over fences, does easy lead changes and is a great mover!  He has show for the past few years in the short stirrup and children's ponies in FL with a nine year old!  We are happy he has joined our group of show ponies!

Madison Avenue
"Maddie"

13.15/8 hand, 12 year old Welsh Pony cross, mare.  Maddie just joined Briar Field Farm in August 2008!  She has been a fabulous addition!  For the past few years she has been showing in short stirrup at the "AA" shows in Vermont and PA.  She jumps in great form, is very brave and has a good lead change.  Maddie has a wonderful laidback personality and is a great mover!  She's eligible green and we can't wait for her to debut in the medium greens!

2008 - At her first show with us: PSJ Pinehurst - Champion Saturday & Sunday Cross-rail Equitation, winning at least one if not both over fences classes and Reserve Champion Saturday in Walk-Trot-Canter!  Special Thanks to Helen Ulrich for showing Maddie after two riders and she had only lived with us for a week!

Briar Field's Etch-A-Sketch
"Scribbles"

131/2 hand, 10 year old Welsh Pony cross, mare.  She jumps 2'6'' courses and never stops at the jumps!  She is a very good mover and is great for
any kid beginner to advanced.  Scribbles has a long list of students she has taught to canter and jump: Rachel, Madeline, Erin, Alycia & Meaghan! 
Scribbles has won numerous championships in various divisions; too many to count!

 2004 - PHJA and Cedarhill Farm Series Walk-Trot Champion
2005 - PHJA WTC & Beginner Rider Reserve Champion & Sixth for the Pleasure Division!  
2006 - Cedarhill Farm Series Reserve Champion for Walk/Trot/Canter and Champion for Beginner Rider. 
SCHJA Series Third overall for Crossrail Hunters after only a few shows. 
2007 - Scribbles was seventh & eighth in Walk/Trot/Canter & Beginner Rider for PHJA with limited showing
& helped a rider receive BRHJA Reserve Champion & PHJA Series Third for Walk-Trot.

2008 - Scribbles made her 'A' circuit debut and was reserve champion her second time out in the small/medium children's pony hunters! 
We believe she has also qualified for the Zone 3 children's pony hunter Finals!

Already Taken
"Ty"

14.1 hand, 16 year old Arab cross, gelding!   He is a great mover and has auto changes!  He is super safe
and teaches even the littlest of kids to canter.  We took him to his first show with us, the PHJA Mid-Year Show, and he won the Walk/Trot Pleasure class!  He can show Walk/Trot through the Short Stirrup!  He has shown previously through the Pony Hunters with great success as well! A barn favorite!

High Expectations
"Rio"

15.3 hand, 16 year old, Thoroughbred, gelding.  Rio loves to walk and trot.  He starts out all the beginners.  He is a great mover
and the kids all love him.  He has his own fan club and nobody ever wants to move on to another pony!  Rio has a big show record. 
 To name a few of his accomplishments, he has been
PHJA Long Stirrup Hunter & Equitation Year-End Champion and has also been PHJA Year-End Champion for Pleasure & Walk-Trot. 
He was the 2002 Reserve Champion Horse of the Year and WTC Reserve Champion!
